British mounted troops spare leather horseshoe case, which attaches to the saddle. This pattern came out before WW1 . This particular example is WW2 dated but I do have WW1 dated examples which I am offering for £15 more. The cases are a little dusty from storage but seem to be unissued , not having even been folded for use.. the example in the picture has been folded by me to demonstrate. These are NOT the pattern with the integral sword frog. All the cases are dated and have British military acceptance marks.... if you require an undated example, please enquire as I have some . |

| LEE ENFIELD BRASS Mk 3 OIL BOTTLE WD marked
The Mk III oiler is a scarce one...only produced between 1899 & 1906 . Saw service in the Boer War and is the correct oiler to match with your Lee Metford or Long Lee Enfield . The difference beween the MkIII & the common Mk IV is the the base of the Mk III is convex rather than flat and so cannot be stood upright. Many of these were crudely converted after 1906 by filing or punching the base so that they could stand up. This example is very nicely marked WD with a broad arrow.

Very rare plastic trials scabbard for the L1A1 bayonet. I have called this the Type 11 as it has a small paper sticker with '11' on it. The scabbard was found in the Hopkinson's factory just before it closed down along with a number of variations of this scabbard and other trials pieces. Good condition.

The dustwrappers are price clipped and show rubbing & minor chips however are generally good, internally the books are in very good condition. |

Very scarce WW1 wirebreaker for attaching to the Lebel rifle bayonet. It has a stamp on it which shows : 8 in an oval plus 11 15 which signifies November 1915. I am selling it together with a photocopy of the original instructions for the device. There is surface rust under which some of the original blueing shows o/w in very good condition.

Nevertheless the line drawings are good and this is a fascinating read. It shows all the objects which might be found on the ground after falling from from aircaft and includes bombs, parachute equip, fuel tanks etc etc |
