1796 LIGHT DRAGOON FLINTLOCK PISTOL Barrel 9 inches , overall 15 inches . Complete and worthy of restoration. Stock with bruising comensurate with age , with no cracks or chips . Brasswork very good , barrel with some pitting . Lock complete externally but not working and with overall pitting, severe to spring and frizzen pan. Ramrod absent . A good cheap example not messed about with.

18th / 19th Century HUNTING HANGER Good quality early hanger . Overall length 27.5 inches, blade length 22 inches. Gilt brass fittings to hanger & scabbard decorated with floral motifs. Double fullered blade decorated with floral patterns and with a hunting dog and wild boar. Some patches of rust to blade. No makers mark . Chape missing to scabbard & knucklebow missing to hanger.

1st SPECIAL SERVICE FORCE (BLACK DEVILS) CALLING CARD This is a reproduction of the 'calling card' which members of the joint US / Canadian 1st Special Service Force left on Germans they had killed behind enemy lines during WW2. 'DAS DICKE ENDE KOMMT NOCH' translates as : 'THE WORST IS YET TO COME'. It is 7 x 6 cm and is made on stiff slightly glossy card.

BRITISH WW1 PATTERN CAVALRY HORSESHOE CASE British mounted troops spare leather horseshoe case, which attaches to the saddle. This pattern came out before WW1 . This particular example is WW2 dated but I do have WW1 dated examples which I am offering for Ł15 more. The cases are a little dusty from storage but seem to be unissued , not having even been folded for use.. the example in the picture has been folded by me to demonstrate. These are NOT the pattern with the integral sword frog. All the cases are dated and have British military acceptance marks.... if you require an undated example, please enquire as I have some .

CONTINENTAL FLINTLOCK CONVERTED TO PERCUSSION Nice example of of continental flintlock pistol converted to percussion with a drum & nipple. Barrel 6 inches, overall length 11 inches. Brass octagonal barrel , slightly flared to muzzle , stamped with a crown over 'M' . 15 mm diameter barrel at muzzle. Brass lockplate , lock complete but at fault : nipple worn and hammer won't stay cocked . Nicely chequered grip .

Overall length 11.5 inches, barrel length 6 inches. Foliate engraved decoration overall, grips bone or possibly ivory .Action quite crisp but barrel attachment a little slack as is the ramrod clip. Some loss of plating and general wear but a very attractive example

GERMAN WW2 MEDAL FOR PARTICIPANTS OF WW1 This is a German medal for the Honorary Organization of German WW1 Participants. It is a bronze cross with 1914-1918, an Imperial eagle to center with a small enameled national shield on its breast, and crossed swords above. The opposite side says "EHREN BUND DEUTSCH WELTKRIEGS TEILNEHMER E.V.".

LARGE 'ANZAC' PRESENTATION FAIRBAIRN SYKES DAGGER Most unusual FS dagger most probably made for a cutlers display or perhaps as a soldiers presentation piece. Overall length 18 inches, blade length 12 inches . Brass pommel , copper crossguard , copper wire binding to grip. Underside of crossguard stamped 'WHS' & 'ANZACS'.

LEE ENFIELD BRASS Mk 3 OIL BOTTLE WD marked The Mk III oiler is a scarce one...only produced between 1899 & 1906 . Saw service in the Boer War and is the correct oiler to match with your Lee Metford or Long Lee Enfield . The difference beween the MkIII & the common Mk IV is the the base of the Mk III is convex rather than flat and so cannot be stood upright. Many of these were crudely converted after 1906 by filing or punching the base so that they could stand up. This example is very nicely marked WD with a broad arrow. Very good condition with intact seal & no dents

PLASTIC TRIALS SCABBARD FOR L1A1 BAYONET TYPE 11 Very rare plastic trials scabbard for the L1A1 bayonet. I have called this the Type 11 as it has a small paper sticker with '11' on it. The scabbard was found in the Hopkinson's factory just before it closed down along with a number of variations of this scabbard and other trials pieces. Good condition.

Very distinctive with its knob top . It is 3.75 inches long and is marked with WD , a broad arrow & an inspection mark. The base is very scratched so some markings have been partially obliterated.

Issued by the Ministry of Home Security HMSO 1943 . Paper covers , 39 pages , 50 illustrations. The photographic plates are very poor as indeed thet were on the original that this was copied from. Nevertheless the line drawings are good and this is a fascinating read. It shows all the objects which might be found on the ground after falling from from aircaft and includes bombs, parachute equip, fuel tanks etc etc
